Mada accessible UI web components & UX best practices

Recently Mada launched a project for the web community to provide professional digital accessible widgets and best practices to help improve the accessibility and usability of websites.

The project consists of 2 areas:

  1. User Interface Web Component (UI): it’s a code repository which has a collection of accessible website plugins with documentation to be used by developers to improve the accessibility of websites for persons with disability and usability for the community.
    These plugins are developed using HTML, JQUERY, and CSS with online live examples.

  2. User Experience Design (UX): is a style guide for making digital content accessible, categorized by various disability

We aim to:

  • Raise awareness about web accessibility
  • Support for accessible development of web applications and websites
  • Enable persons with disability to fully access websites
  • Help reduce the cost of accessible website development
  • Enhance web search engine by using best practices in web development
